METHOD FOR PREDICTING DEVELOPMENT OF CARDIOVASCULAR COMPLICATIONS IN THE LATE PERIOD AFTER ACUTE CORONARY SYNDROME Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2663935 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to cardiovascular diagnostics. After coronary angiography, the patient undergoes bioimpedance spectroscopy. Digital value of intracellular fluid volume is recorded. If obtained actual values are increased in comparison with the proper values, rank 1 is assigned, in the absence of an increase in the actual indicators, rank 0. Obtained rank of the intracellular fluid volume index and the amount of hemodynamically significant coronary arterial narrowing obtained in coronary angiography is used to calculate the risk of cardiovascular complications (COS) in the late period after ACS by the original formula. In case of the obtained value of K≤3 % risk of developing cardiovascular complications is defined as moderate, with a value of 3 % < K < 15 %, the risk is assessed as high, while for K≥15 % risk is very high. Method allows to predict the risk of development of the COS within 6.2±0.2 months after any variant of ACS.

EFFECT: individual approach to patients, forecasting the development of COS within half a year after ACS.
