FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular, to vehicle power system, electric vehicle with such power system and method of heating an electric vehicle battery group. Power system comprises a battery group, a battery heater, a battery management device, a motor controller connected with motor and electric distribution box and an isolation inductor. Battery heater comprises a module to adjust output power, which changes heat power of battery heater by adjusting charging current and/or discharging current. Battery management device controls output power control module for controlling heat power of battery heater in accordance with temperature of battery, when said temperature is below first threshold value for heating, and residual charge of battery is greater than a parking electric quantity threshold.

EFFECT: since operating temperature of battery, especially lithium ion battery, usually varies from -20 °C to 55 °C, battery cannot be charged at low temperature, however proposed method of heating accumulator battery ensures stability and safety of vehicle operation due to selection of different heating power values in accordance with temperature of battery, wherein isolating inductor enables to adapt battery heating depending on ambient temperature.
