SUBSTANCE: invention relates to axial piston internal combustion engines. According to invention, engine includes revolving rotor with cylinders made parallel to rotor shaft. Two pistons with rods arranged in each cylinder move towards one another, and one of pistons in TDC delays through angle of 9°- 12°. Torque is transmitted to rotor shaft when rods of pistons move along profiled surface of plates. Compression ratio is adjusted by changing position of plate.
EFFECT: reduced cost of engine, increased efficiency and economy in operation, provision of adjustment of compression ratio within preset range.
