FIELD: purifying or cleaning gases.
SUBSTANCE: exhaust hood comprises housing provided with at least one inlet and one outlet opening, supplying device with controlled efficiency that pumps the agent through the housing, filtering device through which the agent flows, and semi-permeable shield mounted at the side of exhausting upstream of the filtering device. The shield is made of a preliminary filter that has at least one vortex filter made of, e.g., cyclonic, labyrinth reflecting filter. The shield forms a sucking slot.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and simplified structure.
