FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: according to invention, rotary internal combustion engine has body with double-blade rocking rotor installed concentrically in body to form four working chambers, mechanism to convert rocking motion of rotor shaft into rotation of output shaft and timing device. Two separately mounted coaxial cylindrical gears are secured on end of output shaft pointed to rotor shaft. Mechanism to convert rocking motion of rotor shaft into rotation of output shaft has rocker secured on end of rotor shaft arranged coaxially and provided with two slots on ends. One of gears of output shaft has diametrically opposite engagements with two gear wheels for alternate driving into rotation in one direction. Two pins are mounted on hubs of drive gear wheels for alternate getting into slots at rocking of rotor shaft and turning of drive gear wheels and gear together with output shaft Timing gear is made in form of valveless mechanism.
EFFECT: improved performance characteristics of engine.
