FIELD: powder metallurgy, namely production of blanks of powdered refractory nickel alloys, possibly manufacture of parts resistant against oxidation at elevated temperatures and operating in condition of heavy loads.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of pouring powder material into capsule and shaking it down; performing liquid phase sintering in furnace according to mode: heating till temperature Ts ± 10°C and soaking for 10 - 20 min where Ts - solidus temperature; then heating till temperature Ts + (10 - 25)°C at soaking for 10 - 20 min and further heating till Tl - (5 - 25)°C where Tl - liquidus temperature and soaking for 10 - 30 min. Then blank is cooled till temperature less than solidus temperature Ts by 10 - 40°C and soaked for 15 - 30 min and then it is finally cooled together with furnace. Before or after liquid-phase sintering blank is subjected to hot isostatic pressing.
EFFECT: improved macro- and microstructure of blank, shortened cycle for manufacturing blank.
