FIELD: powder metallurgy, in particular, construction industry, aviation, mechanical engineering, lift building. SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing aluminum alloy powders with blowing agent powders; charging obtained mixture into vessel; heating vessel with powder mixture and effectuating hot molding of mixture to obtain high-density billet; providing hot deformation, cooling and thermal treatment of billet. Mixing of aluminum alloy powders with blowing agent powders is performed at decomposition temperature exceeding solidus-liquidus temperature of aluminum alloy powder. Mixture is discharged into nonseparable vessel made from aluminum alloy. Vessel with powder mixture is heated to temperature below aluminum alloy powder solidus temperature with following molding of powder mixture at this temperature to obtain high-density billet. Prior to thermal treatment, billet is placed into mold made from material not reacting with billet material and retaining geometry and sizes at thermal treatment temperature. Products manufactured from obtained material possess light-weight, floatability, incombustibility, high heat and acoustic protection. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified method, improved ecology control and high quality of products.
