FIELD: physicochemical methods.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to investigation of permeation capability hydrogen-containing liquids, which interact with different nonmetallic materials, including porous ones. Substance of invention resides in that a liquid being investigated is brought into contact with nonmetallic object surface and magnetic resonance scanning is performed. Sites with zero brightness on fragments of magnetic resonance image correspond to getting into scanned cut zone or object fragment, or air, while dark sites correspond to signal of liquid distributed round the object. These sites are used to perform three-dimensional reconstruction allowing one to draw an image close to volume image. In that way a volume image of the liquid is obtained and therefrom an image of the object itself. Thus obtained volume image of the object and investigated liquid are taken as volumetric parameters and permeation capability of liquid is evaluated by comparing measured volumetric parameters.
EFFECT: simplified and accelerated investigation process and widened technological possibilities.
