FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer technologies intended primarily for use in medicine, namely, technologies used in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and can be used to draw marker information on an MRI image. Marker information is a set of lines that can differ in thickness, orientation, position, intensity. This information, in its essence, is analogous to a text message, encrypted partially or completely. Image information is pictured on the MRI image by inserting into the scanning pulse sequence the preliminary radio frequency (RF) excitation of the non-scan sections located perpendicularly to at least one scanned section. This leads to the fact that on the MRI image there are zones of a reduced signal used to place information in the areas of intersection of the planes of the scanned and non-scanned slices. Zones are bands whose thickness is equal to the thickness of the previously excited non-scanned sections.
EFFECT: method provides the introduction of marker information directly onto the MRI image during the MRI scan, obtaining an MRI image containing both diagnostic information, and marker information due to such a pulse sequence that performs excitation of scanned and non-scanning sections perpendicular to each other.
