FIELD: synchronizing electrical machines; pulling in step synchronous motors having double winding on stator.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for pulling in step synchronous motor having three-phase winding and additional three-phase winding on stator by connecting field winding to power supply incorporating supply mains, switch, mentioned additional three-phase stator winding, and three-phase rectifier as soon as motor has gained subsynchronous speed; switch-controlled thyristors are used in one of rectifier phases; they are cut off for the period of synchronization to disconnect one of additional three-phase stator winding phases in field winding circuit followed by changing thyristors over to conductive state upon completion of synchronization.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of motor synchronization due to reduced degree of excitation-system current compounding and current asymmetry in additional three-phase winding during synchronization.
