FIELD: fire-fighting, particularly to extinguish fire in tunnel or in the same space.
SUBSTANCE: method involves spraying fire-extinguishing medium in space by means of spraying heads. At the first stage combustion product and high temperature are suppressed by fire-extinguishant spraying to create at least one fire-extinguishant curtain in space to be protected. For this at least some spraying heads are activated in space to be protected. At the second stage at least one spraying head is activated for fire-extinguishant spraying. Fire-extinguishing device is also disclosed.
EFFECT: increased fire-extinguishing efficiency and possibility to orient device in predetermined space.
