FIELD: technology of utilization; utilization of large-sized floating objects equipped with nuclear power plants.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes unloading of used nuclear fuel from reactor, cutting of superstructure, unloading of some items of equipment, forming and removal of nuclear block, utilization of floating object and preparation of reactor block for protracted storage. After forming of reactor block, it is suspended from independent supports and is ballasted in such way that position of floating object is not changed after separation of reactor block.
EFFECT: considerable reduction of expenses required for utilization of floating objects; avoidance of use of large-tonnage dock for utilization.
