FIELD: processing and recycling of wastes; nuclear engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recycling technology and can be used in recycling of large-size floating objects with nuclear power plant. After decommissioning and making a decision on recycling, spent nuclear fuel is unloaded from reactors, superstructure is dismantled, part of equipment is unloaded, a reactor unit is formed, object unloaded to a state where plane of waterline of object is below formed reactor unit, process cut in board of object is performed, draw-out device is mounted, reactor unit is removed by means of draw-out device. Simultaneously reduction of weight of object is compensated by receiving ballast on object. Method then includes preparing reactor unit for long-term storage, and object is recycled using a method set by recycling project.
EFFECT: recycling of large-size floating structure with a nuclear power plant without using large-capacity floating transfer dock pontoon.
