FIELD: physics, nuclear physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to technology of utilisation and may be used in utilisation of large-size vessel with nuclear power plant. Spent nuclear fuel is unloaded from reactor, upper head is cut-off, some equipment is withdrawn, bow, reactor and stern units are formed, bow and stern units are utilised, and reactor unit is prepared for long-term storage. Optimal waterline of vessel is defined, when stability of integral structure and every unit is provided, ballasting is carried out and/or additional equipment is installed, as well as structures, and/or technological pontoons are installed in compliance with calculation so that waterline of every unit doesn't change after its separation. Application of invention considerably reduces expenses for utilisation, excludes necessity to use large-capacity dock.
EFFECT: reduced expenses for utilisation, exclusion of necessity to use large-capacity dock.
