FIELD: utilization technology; utilization of large-sized ships equipped with nuclear power plants.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in unloading of used nuclear fuel, cutting-off of superstructure, unloading of some items of equipment, forming of reactor block and securing of it by means of cables of winches mounted on object; then object is brought above submersed transport facility; reactor block is separated from object and is lowered on transport facility by means of winches. As buoyancy of object changes, ballast is taken on object to avoid change in its position. After load of reactor block weight is transferred to transport facility, winch cables are disconnected from reactor block and block is transferred to place of utilization; transport facility is surfaced together with reactor block; reactor block is subjected to utilization and is prepared for protracted storage.
EFFECT: reduction of expenses required for utilization of reactor block; avoidance of use of large-tonnage dock.
