FIELD: chiral structures preparation.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in microoptomechanics, microwave, infrared, visible, ultraviolet, and x-ray region engineering, wherein structures with chiral electromagnetic properties are required. Invention provides a structure with chiral electromagnetic properties containing artificial chiral element made in the form of multilayer shell with functional electromagnetic layer having chiral geometry, the curvature of the shell being provided by strained forming layers. Two options for preparing above-defined structures are proposed, which result in expansion of functional possibilities and application area of the structures, increase in selectivity of interaction of structures having waves with different circular polarization, extension of spectral range of electromagnetic emission wherein chiral electromagnetic properties of artificial structures based on solid-body elements are manifested., expansion of possibilities of possible integration of structures possessing chiral electromagnetic properties with integral circuits, and increase in the strength of said chiral structures.
EFFECT: improved performance characteristics of chiral structures.
