FIELD: the invention refers to the mode of estimation of the electrode for electro-discharge treatment of the surface (variants), to the electrode (variants) and to the mode of electro-discharge treatment.
SUBSTANCE: the estimation of capability of the electrode to put on a covering is made according to the quantity of the electrode material on the surface of the treated detail at a single electro-discharge or observe the trace of the single electro-discharge formed on the surface of the treated detail. The electrode is fulfilled in the shape of an unbaked pressing received by pressing of the powder from a metal, a mixture of metals or ceramics or received by heating of unbaked pressing. The mode is in that a single electric discharge is created between the electrode and the treated detail placed in a working fluid or in air and put on the electrode material on the surface of the detail along the form of the arc of the ellipse.
EFFECT: allows estimate capabilities of the electrode.
