FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of producing electrodes for electric-discharge processing by generating pulse discharge between electrode and part surface and producing film on part surface. In compliance with proposed method, powder of metal, or powder of metal compound, or powder of conducting ceramics is used. Note here that oxygen content in said powder is increased, produced powder is mixed with organic binder and solvent to produce liquid mix, powder is granulated in liquid mix, and granulated powder if compacted. Note also that oxygen concentration varies from 4 to 16 wt %. Electrode thus produced features surface resistance measured by four-pole method varies from 5×10-3 to 10×10-3 Ohm.
EFFECT: higher crack resistance, reduced density and electrical resistance.
