FIELD: medical instruments.

SUBSTANCE: instrument set for implanting implant of prosthetic appliance of intervertebral joint into space between bodies of two vertebras has mounting unit, removable guiding unit, two setting members and distraction instrument. Setting unit has intervertebral plate and adjusting rod which goes from intervertebral plate. Removable guiding unit determines two guiding axes for treatment instrument and it is attached to rod. Guiding axes are placed in plane lower and higher than rod in sagittal plane. Two fitting members are introduced into bodies of vertebras along guiding axes by means of treatment instrument. Distraction instrument holds fitting members at preset position. According to version of invention, set has rasps to form intervertebral space corresponding to shape of prosthetic appliance. Set of rasps corresponds to any shape of prosthetic appliance; rasp of bigger size has shape of prosthetic appliance and rest instruments have sizes which decrease gradually. Set of instruments can be used for moving neck vertebras apart which provides maximal visual control of implant f intervertebral joint.
