FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in exhaust systems of internal combustion engines. Device contains swirl chamber with intake and exhaust sections. Intake section is arranged tangentially relative to swirl chamber, and exhaust section is arranged lower in direction of gas flow from swirl chamber. Swirl chamber contains member consisting of row of curved blades equally spaced relative to each other. Part of blade surface arranged higher in flow is located in plane perpendicular to axis of swirl chamber, and part of blade surface arranged lower in flow is located parallel to axis of swirl chamber, blades being orientated radially outwards. Invention contains description of gas distribution method.
EFFECT: provision of minimum pressure drop.
