FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: three-dimension angular knife for carving consists of angular grooved working component with a cutting edge. This working component is attached to a barrel-shape holder in a metal cap by means of a tang. The front end of the groove is tapered at a blunt-angle to the rib of the groove, and bevel is transformed into the cutting edge. Upper ribs of the groove walls are inclined to the holder and partially are tapered at an acute angle to the rib of the groove in its front end area. Wall ribs of the front end of the groove in its tapered area are additionally transformed into cutting edges. A blunt angle between the groove rib and its bevel does not exceed 150 deg, while an angle between the groove rib bevel and the bevel of groove wall ribs in its front end area does not exceed 90 deg.
EFFECT: simplifies operations and reduces physical efforts while performing fancy and decorative carving of vegetables and fruit.
