FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: in the process of incessant casting the cooling of sections can be conducted in a crystallizer pan to be followed by the secondary and consequent cooling procedures of these sections neatly stacked next to one another in a pile. To adjust an equal temperature for all capacities of sections after their secondary cooling a covering layer of thermal isolated suspension is sprayed sparingly by using the spraying torches. The fireproof material is used as the thermal isolated component in suspension. The thermal isolated cover is layered with reciprocating movements made by the torches spraying all around the sections. The cover must also be sprayed upon its edges, as well as on all areas of the surface of the partially finished product that lie adjacent to them.
EFFECT: facilitates removal of thermal pressures in the partially finished products and reduction in occurrences of calx.
