SUBSTANCE: betulinol diacetate (C34H54O4) - biologically active substance, which exhibits anticancer activity and represents high interest for chemical-pharmaceutical industry. The method includes preparation of betulinol diacetate directly from birch bark by boiling it in acetic acid.
EFFECT: simplifies process of betulinol diaceate preparation; reduces costs for product preparation and production hazard.
