FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of producing betulinol dipropinate. The method involves heating betulinol-containing material in a propionic acid medium, followed by extraction of the end product. The betulinol-containing material used is birch bark which is crushed to particle size 10-20 mm. Synthesis is carried out in a single step at temperature 120-130°C for 4-12 hours.
EFFECT: simplification of technology owing to cutting the number of steps and low expenses on producing the end product.
