FIELD: chemistry, organic, biotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to biotechnology, in particular to the modes including indirect electrochemical generation of NADH and NAD(P)H in enzyme transformations of substrates that are catalysed with monooxygenases. Processes of electric-enzyme obtaining of 2,3-dihydroxyphenyl derivatives in catalysis with the enzyme 2-hydroxybiphenyl-3-monooxygenase during simultaneous electrochemical reduction of the resulting reducing splitting of NAD+ and NAD(P)+ oxygen are proposed. Electrochemical reduction of NAD+ and NAD(P)+ will be conducted in presence of hydride-rhodium catalyst [Cp Rh(III) (bpy)Cl]Cl. Advantage of the process includes enhancement of efficacy of obtaining the target product by the continuous scheme.
