FIELD: medicine; otorhinolaryngology.

SUBSTANCE: method allows detecting criteria for definition of the patients with liability to polypus emergence in that or another cells area of ethmoidal labyrinth at earlier period of disease. One tests the state of paranasal sinus with the help of computer tomography, when one can define received during the computer tomography in axial and frontal plane the area of all cell sections of ethmoidal labyrinth for dorsal, middle and anterior cell groups, besides the section pace during tomography testing is 1.25 mm. When the value of all sections space of the anterior group is less than 8 cm2 one can diagnose the patient' s liability to polypus emergence with localization in the anterior cell group. When the value of all sections space of the middle group is less than 13 cm2 it can be diagnosed the patient' s liability to polypus emergence with localization in the middle cell group. And when the value of all sections space of the dorsal group is less than 10 cm2 one can diagnose the patient' s liability to polypus emergence with localization in the dorsal cell group.
