FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves analysis of the biological material of the nasal cavity, namely the internal lining of air cells of the ethmoid bone wherein gland volume concentration and the ratio of ciliated to goblet cells are determined. If the gland volume concentration less than 0.648 is combined with the ratio of ciliated to goblet cells less than 70:30, high probability of polypous rhinosinusitis to be developed is predicted.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of prediction of risk of polypous rhinosinusitis to be developed.
