METHOD OF TERMINABLE VASCULAR SHUNTING DURING LIVER TRANSPLANTATION AND AUTO TRANSPLANTATION Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A61B17/00 

FIELD: medicine; surgery.

SUBSTANCE: one performs cannulation of right atrium, portal and inferior vena cava. Low cavel porto-right atrial field requiry is made at the agepatic stage of surgery. At the same time the right atrium is cannuled through the supraliver portion of the inferior vena cava in conditions of its collateral pressing. It is accessed with the dissection of central tendon of diaphragm and posterior heart sac. Portal and inferior vena cava are cannuled against the preserved blood flow in conditions their collateral pressing. Canula are connected with the help of two T-connectors and canula, installed in the right arterium as well as with the system for the sealing and control of require patency. The veins are transected distally the zones of their canulation after switching on the system of terminable vascular shunting. Its functioning is supported during the whole agepatic period of surgery by the termination of vascular remodeling. After that the canula are gradually exhausted from the veins lumina in conditions of collateral pressing.

EFFECT: this method widens the range of measures for timely vascular shunting during liver transplantation and auto transplantation.
