FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to control equipment and may be used for selection of control equipment for application in specific environment of technological process control. Method consists in the following: user provides data that is related to specific environment of technological process control, where at least one of plenty controlling instruments must be used; obtained data is processed for modeling of operational mode of every one out of plenty controlling instruments, one or more working characteristic is determined from the modeled operational mode of every controlling instrument for every one out of plenty controlling instruments of technological process, which identify modeled operation of every controlling instrument during application in specific environment of technological process control, and simultaneously display for user working characteristics for every one from plenty controlling instruments in specific environment of technological process control.
EFFECT: reduces time of analysis performance.
