FIELD: machine engineering, possibly electromechanical working by means of grinding and polishing wheels with use of combined technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: wheel includes diamond-abrasive discs mounted on common mandrel at axial gap and inclined for oscillation of cutting zone by angle to plane normal relative to wheel rotation axis. Discs are fastened by means of two pairs of tapered washers with possibility of changing inclination angle, axial gap and number of abrasive discs. Axial gaps are filled with copper-graphite impregnator in the form of intermittent discs. The last have height no less than height half of diamond-abrasive discs and alternating recesses and protrusions with the same length. Intermittent electric current supply lead is provided for supplying DC at time moment of breaking contact of impregnated discs and worked blank insulated from machine tool.
EFFECT: improved cutting conditions, enhanced vibration resistance of wheel, increased efficiency, high quality of working, lowered wear of wheel.
