FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hardware, in particular, to the rotor-type seal incorporating a case with through holes to let in/let out a flexible embracing element with a passive and free ends and a rotor fitted to turn in the case and provided with a mating through hole to receive the flexible embracing element, a handle to turn the rotor and means to form latched one-piece joint between the case and the rotor. The said joint is made in the form of a spring laid in the case groove interacting with the mating groove made in the rotor in closing. Here note, that the case is provided with a circular cylindrical groove equal in depth to, at least, the thickness of the embracing element the passive end of which is rigidly fastened in the case. Note here, that the rotor is provided with the holes to receive the ledges of the handle. The case is made in the form of a flat body with a cylindrical side surface. The seal is provided with the seal closed position indicator made in the form of two flat ledges aligned in closed position of the seal. The case rear has a seat for washer rigidly attached to the rotor and allowing the latter to turn through free in the case.
EFFECT: increased resistance against unauthorised opening.
