SUBSTANCE: device incorporates cup-like element (1) with a through axial bore (2) at its bottom part attached to axle box (3) with cover (4) by means of bolt (5) with head (6) arranged inside the said cup-like element and furnished with open cylindrical space (7). The device is provided with cover (8) with flange (9) rigidly attached to the cup-like element, and cylindrical ledge (10) arranged inside, the bolt head of cylindrical space. Sealing data arrangement is provided for on the cover flange outer surface and on the cup-like element outer side surface. The cover cylindrical ledge accommodates several identical blocks (12) interconnected by split spring ring (13) and designed to engage with appropriate surfaces of the bolt head inner cylindrical space.

EFFECT: simple-design, easy-to-produce axle box sealing device.
