FIELD: measuring instruments.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring instruments and it may find applications in the chemical, microbiological and other industries. An apparatus for determining structural and kinematical characteristics of deformable bulk materials includes a shear measuring cell having a rectangular cross-section and a drive. The shear measuring cell is therein constructed as a chute having a rough base and a belt conveyor having an endless belt, one run of which passes above the base, and provided with a hopper for bulk materials. Moreover, the chute and belt conveyor with a rough endless belt is affixed to a frame being capable of adjusting its tilting angle and under the bottom run of the conveyor belt there are guiding rollers providing a constant and uniform clearance. Moreover, the chute is provided at its ends with shutters used to limit a working portion of the bulk material layer and to divide it into elementary volumes.
EFFECT: improving the accuracy of determining structural and kinematical characteristics of deformable bulk materials.
