FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to extraction of a catalyst from an output stream of liquid phase of catalytic cracking of light hydrocarbons, as well as to regeneration of the regenerated catalyst. The method and system for extracting light particles of catalyst from exhaust gases of liquid phase of catalyst cracking of light hydrocarbons are described. The cracking gases from the reactor are cooled due to indirect contact with the circulating oil product in the damping column of the oil products. The circulating oil product also washes away small particles of the catalyst carried by the exhaust gases from the reactor. The stream of the oil product from the residue of the damping columns is passed through one of the pairs of filters, so as to remove small particles and for recirculation in the column. The other filter operates in the mode of washing by backward jets using compressed gas for removing small particles from it and passing it to a collector tank. Liquid fuel or cooling distillate is put into the tank, so as to form a suspension, which carries small particles of the catalyst into the regenerator chamber, where the oil product is burnt, so as to provide the liquid phase catalytic cracking with the required heat. Since there is generation of minimum quantity of liquid fuel in the liquid phase catalytic cracking, liquid fuel is channelled to the reservoir damping columns.
EFFECT: prevention of loss of catalyst in exhaust gases and provision of the required heat for regeneration of catalyst.
