FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport and may be used at transport facilities with DC traction motors, particularly, at shunting diesel locomotives. Outputs of DC traction motor are connected to voltage converter output. Voltage converter input serves for connection of three-phase voltage source. Excitation windings and current transducers are connected to armature windings of the first and second traction motors. Armature winding output terminals of the first and second traction motors are connected to positive terminals of voltage converter. Outputs of the first and second traction motors are connected to positive terminal of voltage converter. Outputs of the first and second current transducers are connected to collectors of the first and second bipolar transistors with ground gates. Emitters of said transistors are interconnected and connected to negative terminal of voltage converter. Two voltage transducers are connected to positive terminal of power supply and bipolar transistor collectors. Outputs of voltage transducers are connected with inputs of control unit of each traction motor.

EFFECT: operation in wide range of speeds, smooth speed adjustment and higher reliability.
