FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: diesel fuel feed system comprises a high-pressure pump, its sections communicating, via a pressure valves, with high-pressure pipelines and closed-type nozzles, a fuel accumulator, fuel fine and coarse filters, a booster pump, low-pressure pipelines and a fuel tank. The fuel discharge system includes the fuel accumulator receiving fuel oozing out through the nozzle atomisers in injection. The said fuel accumulator is divided into two spaces with a throttle arranged therebetween, one space being connected to the discharge line running from the nozzles and the other one communicating, via a check valve, with the fuel tank. The check valve is adjusted at, at least, the 4...5 MPa opening pressure. The invention novelty consists in that the fuel accumulator space is connected to the fuel system low-pressure line via the check valve adjusted at the 0.03...0.05 MPa opening pressure, while the second accumulator space accommodates an air-operated accumulator furnished with a plug.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and stability, longer life.
