FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diesel engines, particularly, to their fuel systems. Proposed system contains high- pressure pump whose sections are coupled through delivery valves with high-pressure pipe lines and with closed-type nozzles, fuel accumulator, fuel coarse and fine filters, fuel feed pump, low-pressure pipelines, and fuel tank. Fuel accumulator is connected to fuel drain system draining fuel leaking through nozzle spray tips at injection and it is divided into two spaces between which restrictor is placed. Nozzle leak-off fuel pipelines are connected to one space. Other space is connected through non-return valve to fuel tank. Non-return valve is adjusted for opening pressure not lower than 4-5 MPa. EFFECT: simplified design and manufacturability of fuel system, improved efficiency, stability and increased service life. 1 dwg
