FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: method consists in that an AC signal is sent into the track circuit one end. At the other end, the signal change is verified, the track circuit occupancy and clearness threshold voltages are determined to be compared with the track line current voltage. The occupancy threshold voltage exceeding the current, the occupied-track state is recorded, and, on the contrary, given the current voltage exceeding the occupancy threshold voltage, the clear-track-circuits condition is recorded. The occupancy threshold voltage is taken to be product of multiplication of the current voltage of one of the controlled track sections by the occupancy factor, while the threshold clear-track voltage is taken to be a product of multiplication of the track voltage of one of the controlled track sections, provided that this section and both adjacent sections are not occupied, by the first clear-tract factor, or the product of multiplication of the current voltage of one of the clear track sections by the second clear-track factor. The clear-track state is recorded provided that the nest track line is occupied. The controlled zone is made up of three track lines ahead of and three lines behind of the line being controlled.
