FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in that an AC signal is sent into the track circuit one end. At the other end, the signal change is verified. The power source is connected in the track line center, while the receiving devices are wired to the track line ends. The track line state is controlled by comparing the voltages at the line ends. The track line occupancy is recorded with the input-end-voltage-to-output-end voltage ratio exceeding the voltage upsurge factor-to-voltage asymmetry factor ratio, or with the output-end-voltage-to-input-end-voltage ratio exceeding the product of multiplication of the voltage drop factor by the asymmetry factor minimum tolerable value. The track line clear-state is recorded provided three conditions met consecutively in time, i.e. first, the power supply current should exceed the threshold value, second, the output-end-voltage-to-input-end-voltage ratio should exceed the voltage drop factor-to-asymmetry factor minimum tolerable value ratio and, third, the output-end-voltage-to-input-end-voltage ratio should exceed the voltage upsurge factor-to-voltage asymmetry factor minimum tolerance ratio.
EFFECT: higher reliability of the track line state control.
