SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Device for estimation of vision acuity includes table of optotypes with step 0.05. Table of optotypes is made with possibility to reduce illumination from 400 lx to 50 lx, and contains only letters with prevailing vertical lines U, N, S, E and geometrical figures triangle, square, circle.
EFFECT: ensuring possibility to detect ophthalmopathologies in early diagnostics.
