FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: prosthesis is made of rigid material in the form of lattice with spherical bend by calvarium shape. Lattice consists of some set on edge and likewise bent parallel plates crossing other parallel plates. Length of plates at upper edge exceeds length thereof at lower edge. All the plates are punched. Punch height exceeds width thereof. End of each longest plate surface is provided with support platform with pin under. Width of support platform exceeds plate thickness. Pin is not thicker than plate. End face of each longest plate contains longitudinal notch of depth not less than that of pin under support platform. After prosthesis is installed, space between plates is filled by biologically active osteogene material.

EFFECT: extended possibilities of selected method of calvarium bone replacement; improved quality of surgical treatment by simplified techniques and time of operative intervention with higher reliability of brain protection from mechanical external influences and maintenance of subsequent regeneration of bone tissue with elimination of calvarium bone defect.
