FIELD: medicine; orthopedy and traumatology.

SUBSTANCE: attachment to the prosthesis of a skull having plates with a basic platform on executed on their ends, a longitudinal cut and a thorn under the basic platform, consists of the plate established on a rib from a rigid material with the basic platform with a thorn under it executed at its top surface on its free end. The width of a basic platform exceeds thickness of the plate of an attachment, and face surfaces of the plate of an attachment are executed at an angle of 45-70° to the bottom surface of the basic platform. The tooth, with possibility of its introduction in a cut of a working end face of a plate of prosthesis is executed at the back end face of the plate of an attachment, and the groove under a thorn of a plate of prosthesis is executed above the tooth.

EFFECT: improvement of quality of surgical treatment at defects of bones of calvaria by expansion of possibility during operation, change of the size of prosthesis at any form of defect and rising of accuracy of its attachment to a bone.
