FIELD: medicine; surgery.

SUBSTANCE: perform a cut on a belly of the patient below a belly-button in length of 0.3 cm. Insert a stilet from a trocar with protective casing preliminary put on it into a cut . Perform a puncture getting into an abdominal cavity. Take a stilet out from the wound, thus the protective casing remains in the operational wound, connecting an abdominal cavity with an environment. Roll a retractor executed from an elastic-deformed material in the form of a hinge through the protective casing in an abdominal cavity, bent in the perpendicular planes, having a direct vertical shoulder with a flexure on the extremity for fixation and the horizontal shoulder braided on a spiral. Perform traction of an abdominal wall by means of the retractor and create operational space in an abdominal cavity for the subsequent manipulations with instruments. Fix the retractor in the lift-fixing device, leaving the protective casing dressed on the retractor.

EFFECT: simplification of introduction of a retractor in an abdominal cavity; decrease of traumas and augmentation of volume of operational space at abdominal wall lifting.
