FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves laying and fixing patient on operation table in dorsal position and subjecting to general anesthesia. Pierces into the abdominal cavity are made on the abdomen, abdominal wall traction is carried out by capturing tissues in the umbilical region and space is created in the abdominal cavity between abdominal wall and viscera. To do it, elastic deformable rods are introduced through one of pierces, brought to opposite pierce and taken out from the abdominal cavity. The rods are bent as arcs to enable one to stretch the abdominal wall from inside. The rods are separated inside of the abdominal cavity to build fan-like structure by rotating the about a conditional axis passing through the pierces. Each rod is manufactured from elastic deformable material being not less than 0.4 mm in length and having elliptic cross-section.
