FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: for the implementation of the method, an optical criterion of ripe apples is determined namely the intensity of the reflected light with wavelengths of 550 nm and 680 nm is determined. Ripe apples are placed for storage in a refrigerator and natural weight loss values are determined. Dependencies of the natural ripe apple weight loss against the optical criterion are used to predict the storage periods. A method is also proposed, which involves measuring the intensity of reflected light of leaf plant tissue. The proposed group of inventions allows to perform advance prediction with high accuracy and efficiency.
EFFECT: increased prediction accuracy.
