FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to an improved extraction of lanthanides from water solutions using a temperature induced phase separation method, which can be used in medicine during analysis of physiological fluids, in tomography, in ecological monitoring of waste water and soil, at defined stages of recycling nuclear wastes. The method lies in adding to a water solution of lanthanide, non-ionic surfactant of Triton X100 and oxyethylated calixarene nKOm with general formula: , where: if n=4, oxyethylation degree m=16, if n=9, oxyethylation degree m=8, 9, 12, 16. The temperature of the solution is brought to the turbidity point and separation of the micellar phase.
EFFECT: improved extraction of lanthanides from water solutions.
