FIELD: process flows, filters.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied in treatment plants in various industries. Gas subjected to treatment is passed through photocatalyst layer represented by carrier from made from quartz or glass in form of rings, grit or fiber with applied layer on the titanium dioxide basis in form of anatase of thickness 20 - 2000 nm. At that the photocatalyst layer in counter-flow with gas supply is continuously sprayed with water or steam. Spraying rate is maintained within 3-100 mg/cm2, and process is implemented with ozone of quantity from 0.01 to 0.5 parts of removed impurities.
EFFECT: reduced energy consumption and increased quantum reaction yield and treatment level.
