FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of rhenium (VII) solution, its reduction with SnCl2 solution to rhenium (IV), converting into complex compound and measuring coefficient of diffuse reflection on silica surface. Complex-forming agent sorbent - silica, chemically modified with mercaptopropyl groups, is used, and coefficient of diffuse reflection of rhenium (IV) complex at 410 nm is measured.
EFFECT: addition of chemically modified silica to analysed solution in order to concentrate rhenium allows to reduce limit of detecting, reduce temperature of analysed solution and preserve analysis duration.
