FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: flaw detection of blades is done according to permissible level of poor serviceability with rejection of blades that may not be restored. Flaws on blades working surface are removed by means of electrochemical and mechanical processing. Afterwards blades are exposed to thermal treatment for removal of residual stresses. Working surface of blades is cleaned without increase in its microhardness. Adhesive preparation of cleaned working surface is done by means of vacuum ion-plasma treatment. Wear-resistant coating of titanium nitride is applied on the surface with nitrogen pressure in vacuum chamber. At that permissible level of poor blades serviceability is identified on the basis of relaxation tests by means of assessment of control blade material fatigue condition, which occurs in process of their operation and precedes deterioration of their material properties in case of operation continuation.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of blades restoration.
