FIELD: physics; testing.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to field environment test procedure of internal combustion engines with compression ignition of combustion. Diesel engine is started and warmed up to thermal normality while controlling motor oil temperature and pressure. Then the engine is stopped, and flowmeter is installed (e.g., in oil-filling flow-type neck), thereby cutting off ventilation of engine case. The engine is started again and converted to idle slow-speed with following sudden peak fuel increase. The engine is thus converted to free acceleration with short-term full-load curve simulation. As angular speed corresponding to controller actuation start is reached, the latter suddenly reduces fuel delivery to value corresponding to full speed idle. Within free acceleration, hourly fuel consumption is continuously growing to peak value at angular speed corresponding to controller actuation start. Oil samp gas consumption is functionally connected with fuel consumption, and its behaviour is suitable for that of hourly fuel consumption. Its peak value corresponds to controller actuation start.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of control.
